What's Trust Got To Do With It?

Trust Issues: Perspectives on Community, Technology, and Trust

This Zoom conversation organized by Data & Society, set for March 21, 2024, will feature a discussion on trust within and outside institutions.

Moderated by D&S Principal Researcher Sareeta Amrute, panelists Chelsea Peterson-Salahuddin, Irene Solaiman, and Jason D’Cruz will explore the complexities of trust, influenced by racism, dehumanization, and opacity, particularly in data-centric environments.

This public panel, part of the Trust Issues workshop by the Trustworthy Infrastructures program, aims to understand the normative aspects of trust and the impact of mistrust on vulnerable communities.
