With the upcoming meeting of the Council of Europe Committee on AI, the Center for AI and Digital Policy will host an event on "The Impact of Generative AI on Trust, Democracy, and Elections."

With important elections taking place around the world in 2024, few AI policy issues have gathered more attention than the impact of AI on Trust and Democracy. CAIDP plans to welcome leading experts - Craig Matasick, Mariela Oliver, Megan Shahi, and Oreste Pollicino - to discussion moderated by CAIDP president Merve Hickok.

The session takes place December 7, 2023 at 12.30-13.30 CET / 6.30-7.30 EST. The event is taking place in Room 2, Palais de l’Europe at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
